Introduction

Many extensions (add-ons) have been discussed on the Blog over the past few years. However trying to find a specific extension is not easy. Trying to search the Blog can sometimes work, but if you are not sure of the name that won't help. You could even search by the Add-ons tag, but that brings up everything that has to do with Firefox add-ons. So the Extensions page was created to act as an index/cross-reference to the main extension articles on the blog. Have an extension (Firefox or Thunderbird) you would like The Guru to review? Listing Format

Each extension listing follows this format:

  • Name - The official name of the extension
  • Description- A brief synopsis about the function/purpose of the extension
  • Works With - Compatibly information with each versions of Firefox
  • Main Article - The main blog article, usually an in-depth write-up about the extension
  • Other Articles - Other blog articles this extensions has appeared on
  • Link - Direct link to the add-on. This can be to the official AMO addons.mozilla.org)page or the extension developer's site. Older extensions may no longer be linked
  • Comments - Notes, advisories, etc.
