Extensions

Many extensions (add-ons) have been discussed on the Blog over the past few years. However trying to find a specific extension is not easy. Trying to search the Blog can sometimes work, but if you are not sure of the name that won’t help. You could even search by the Add-ons tag, but that brings up everything that has to do with Firefox add-ons. So the Extensions page was created to act as an index/cross-reference to the main extension articles on the blog. Besides the individual extensions listed below, we also have several Add-ons Compilations, collections of add-ons with a unified theme.

Each extension listing follows this format:

  • Name - The official name of the extension
  • Description- A brief synopsis about the function/purpose of the extension
  • Works With - Compatibly information with each versions of Firefox. Note: Add-ons which no longer work with Firefox 3.6 or newer are still listed for historical purposes with show N/A for compatibility.
