Update: Close Other Tabs Warning

Early last month we wrote about a change in the closing multiple tabs warning behaviour when using the option to close other tabs (even with the warning turned off in the preferences). Within the past week or so, Bug 772319 which was filed to undo this change was changed to RESOLVED FIXED with a target milestone of Firefox 18. This means starting with Firefox 18, users will no longer (as they didn’t get in the past) this warning when using the close other tabs function. The current work around is to use Tab Mix Plus 0.4.0.3 add-on. Firefox 18 is scheduled for release in early to mid-January 2013.
