How to fix Firefox annoyances

"... If you use a web browser for a long time you will get into a flow when you are working with it. You do things a particular way and while it may not be the optimal way in a lot of times, it does work for you and that is all that counts.
"I recently experienced issues -- or annoyances -- in the Firefox web browser that I did not want to experience any longer.
"What is funny about those is that I published guides here on Ghacks on how to cope with them before, but for whatever reason, did not use the fix myself on this particular version of Firefox.
On we go:"

Microsoft Posts and Removes video Bashing iPhone

Over the weekend Microsoft had posted to their Windows Phone YouTube channel a video entitled: A fly on the wall in Cupertino? The video was about the (colorful) upcoming iPhone 5C. Seems the video did not go over well with social media, so Microsoft yanked it of their YouTube channel, but not before someone else had a chance to mirror the video. Microsoft's response to Cnet about the video “was intended to be a lighthearted poke at our friends from Cupertino. But it was off the mark, and we’ve decided to pull it down.” Not really sure what all the uproar is about. The Windows Nokia Luma 1020 phone which is being advertised heavily right now on TV (full uncut video below) appears to be made of plastic (as is my Samsung Galaxy S4) and comes in other colors besides white and black. Seems most phones today are being made out plastic as consumers want a lightweight and cheaper phone. However, Apple's iPhone has always been made out of metal and I suppose this was their solution to the issues with iPhone 5 back plates getting scratched up easily. The only other thing I can conclude that may have a been sore point was poking fun at the 'upgraded' but still an 8 MP camera on the iPhone 5C. The Windows Nokia Luma 1020 sports a 41 mega-pixel camera and the Samsung Galaxy has a 13 mega-pixel camera. via Tom's Hardware
