How Do I Install A Plugin?
Firefox will alert you if you need a particular plugin to view the content on the page. An alert will display at the top of the page with a button to install the plugin. However, you can also browser the selection of plugins available for Firefox.
How Do I Disable A Plugin?
- Firefox 3.6 (all platforms) & Firefox 4 (Windows XP, Linux and Mac) - From the ‘Tools’ Menu select Add-ons
Firefox 4 (Windows Vista/7) - From the Firefox Menu select Add-ons - Click on the Plugins Tab
- Click the Plugin you wish to disable
- Click the ‘Disable’ button
- The plugin will be fully disabled once you close down and restart Firefox
